“Ted” is the #1 movie in the country

We have already featured Seth MacFarlane of the Kent School as a celebrity prep school grad of the week. MacFarlane graduated from Kent and then went on to RISD. In researching him and the movie “Ted,” we found out that the headmaster of Kent actually led a campaign against Seth MacFarlane and “Family Guy.”

If you check out Wikipedia, there’s a link to a story that says:

”Seth MacFarlane has been out of prep school for eight years, but the headmaster is still on his case. The top administrator of the Kent School is leading a one-man campaign to get advertisers to drop “The Family Guy,” an animated TV comedy created by MacFarlane, a 1991 Kent alumnus.”

I would say that MacFarlane has won that battle.

As for “Ted,” let me just say that I saw it this weekend and I need to see it again, as everyone was laughing so hard that I missed probably half of the movie’s lines.
